At the start of his freshman year in high school, DeAndre McCamey was considered by local analysts as the top prospect in Illinois for the class of 2010. Three years later, and a knee injury that happened in the early part of the summer of 2008, the analysts have seemingly forgot about the six-foot-one guard. Since sustaining the injury, McCamey has been hard at work to get back to his pre-injury form.
Playing for the Illinois Wolves, McCamey had a summer that was not as strong as hoped, but he is still coming into form with the knee and the constant schedule of games limited his abilities. However, over the course of the past two months, he has gone into overdrive to rehab.

Griffin Schamp may play in Georgia's Class A, the small school class, but the six-foot-three guard is hoping that his game and abilities are good enough to break through and gain the attention of some Division I programs. This past season, as a junior, Schamp averaged 20.1 points per game on 54.0% shooting, as well as 8.1 rebounds per game. Those numbers were good enough to earn Georgia Sportswriters Association All-State basketball team honorable mention honors for Class A, as well as third team honors by the National Christian Schools Athletic Association. Over the course of this summer, Schamp ran with the Atlanta All-Stars, and Schamp felt he had a strong summer. "I played well in the Kentucky Hoopfest, Hooiser Shootout, and in Nationals. It was great competition all summer long and I can't thank my coach, Coach Miller, enough for giving me this opportunity." |

Nigerian native Jordan Omogbehin is heavy on potential, and does not want that potential to go unfulfilled. So after spending last season at one of the top prep school programs in the nation, Montrose Christian, the seven-foot-one post player made the move to National Christian. "Montrose is a good place for a developed player, or someone who is already skilled" said Omogbehin. "I did not want to sit on the bench for my junior year and I need to play a lot of basketball, to improve my skill level." |

Just prior to his sophomore season, God's Academy point guard KC Ross-Miller thought his recruitment was over and done with when he offered a verbal commitment to the University of Kentucky. Twenty-one months later, Ross-Miller re-opened his recruitment after the firing of Billy Gillespie, the coach he gave his commitment to. With signing day six months away, multiple programs have stepped up their interest in the six-foot guard. |
