DeMarco Sanders may been an unknown to many, even though he played for Flint Powers Catholic in Michigan this past season. However various Division I schools have been keeping tabs on the six-foot-two guard. Although this past season, Sanders got a taste of success, as Flint Powers Catholic won the Class B championship, Sanders is hoping a move to a new school, Impact Academy, in Sarasota Florida, will get his name out some more. However, Sanders is not content with status quo, as he continue to put in the hard work, knowing it will pay off.
The lefty possesses a very good offensive game, as he does his damage from behind the arc and with his mid-range game. He is lacking in the strength department, as he weighs in at 165 pounds, but Sanders is aware of this weakness and continues to work on improving his body to get bigger, in hopes it will diversify his game more as he can attack the lane without concern.
Currently, Sanders is hearing most from Oklahoma, Central Michigan, Detroit and Oakland with Penn State, Louisiana State, DePaul, and VCU keep tabs on the guard. Factors that Sanders will be considering when the time comes is the hope of coming in and making an early impact with strong desire to win. Academics will also be another factor that Sanders will take into account. Lastly, how strong the relationship is between teammates and the coaching staff |
